Baking potatoes is incredibly easy and requires almost no preparation at all, but it can take some time – at least if you choose to bake potatoes in the oven. Baked potato recipe

To make the perfect baked potato, only two things are needed: a baking potato and an oven or microwave.

How to bake potatoes in the oven

Start by rinsing the potatoes (1 per person) and make sure to dry them completely. Then make a small cut in the middle of the potato so they don't explode in the oven. Then bake the potatoes in the oven for about 50 minutes at 225 degrees.

How to bake potatoes in the microwave

Bakad potatis

Make exactly the same preparations as when you are going to bake the potato in the oven. Then set the microwave to full power and set the timer for 10 minutes. After ten minutes, you can take out the potato and check if it is done; usually, an additional 5-7 minutes is required.

Serving tips!

Take the potato out of the oven or microwave and cut a cross on top of the potato, then press so that the skin splits. A tip is to wrap the potato in foil so you don't burn yourself as easily.
