Are you tired of drinking "non-alcoholic wine" that isn't worth hanging on the Christmas tree, sparkling drinks that don't taste like sparkling, or just ordering "a soda please" with your meal? Then we are at least two who are in the same boat!
But don't despair - we have now gathered the recipes for this year's best non-alcoholic drinks in one single article. Scroll down to take part in our best tips and recipes for summer's mocktails that save all occasions.
Good non-alcoholic drink for the party - here's how to do it
A non-alcoholic alternative can be really tasty and enjoyable and comes with a number of benefits. Whether you are pregnant, going to drive, or want to abstain from alcohol for other reasons, there are options for you. The best part? The drinks are both delicious and you avoid the hangover that can come with "regular" alcoholic drinks - win win simply put. The easiest way to make a drink non-alcoholic is of course to remove the spirits, but if you want to drink something more fun than cola without rum or redbull without vodka, there is a whole world to discover.
Tips 1. Replace the spirits with a non-alcoholic alternative
Did you know that there are actually spirits at the Systembolaget that contain 0.0% alcohol? Perfect if you want to make your favorite drink without alcohol.
Tip 2. Focus on the garnish
Alcohol-free drinks can sometimes look a bit boring, especially when the only option at home is soda. Focus on the garnishes and dry oranges, have the lime ready, or why not top it with edible glitter?
Tip 3. Buy your drink at a supermarket
Most often when we want to buy something nice for the food, we turn to the systembolaget and they do have a good selection of non-alcoholic options. But a hot tip is to turn to your local grocery store and lift your gaze towards their non-alcoholic selection. There you can find everything from ready-made drink mixes to fun ingredients to use for your mocktail.
Tips 4. Matcha drink with food
Red wine with meat and white wine with fish - but what do you drink if you don't want to drink wine? Pairing the right type of beverage with the right type of food can be a "game changer" for the taste experience. Read up on how to combine flavors or ask in the store for tips on what to choose!
