Recipes for sour, tasty and yellow drinks for the Easter celebration
Perk up your ears (or your drink) because now it's time for us to tell you how to make the best Easter drink in 2023. If you like tart drinks with passion and lemon flavors topped with a hint of sweetness, we have the drink for you !
Ingredients in a passion sour with vanilla foam:
Passionssour
5cl vodka
3 cl lemon juice
3 cl sugar syrup
1 passion fruit
Vanilla foam
3 dl sugar
3 dl of water
1 vanilla pod
1 gelatinblad
2 egg whites
Step by step - this is how you make the best Easter drink
Step 1. Start with the vanilla foam. Place the gelatin sheet in cold water for about 5 minutes.
Step 2. Meanwhile, boil sugar and water until the sugar dissolves.
Step 3. Split the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a knife.
Step 4. Add seeds and vanilla pod to the sugar solution.
Step 5. Mix in the gelatin sheet. Leave for an hour.
Step 6. Then mix in two egg whites and strain the liquid into a siphon. Load with two cartridges and place in the fridge.
Tip! Please prepare the vanilla foam a few hours before the drink is to be served so that the foam has time to set properly. Otherwise, the risk is that it will be too loose.
How to foam drinks without a siphon:
If you don't have a siphon, you can instead use lightly whipped cream that you flavor with vanilla sugar and pour into a piping bag. Remember that the cream should then be very sweet to break up the sourness of the drink.
Assemble the drink:
Pour lemon juice, sugar syrup, vodka and a hollowed-out passion fruit into a shaker. In with ice and shake cold. Strain into a glass with a large ice cube. Top with vanilla foam and garnish with edible gold glitter.
