What is Rhubarb Spritz?
Rhubarb Spritz is a modern interpretation of the classic drink Aperol Spritz. A traditional Aperol Spritz consists of prosecco, soda water, and a bitter aperitif like Aperol or Campari. In Rhubarb Spritz, we have replaced the bitter aperitif with a sweet-sour rhubarb syrup. A perfect flavor combo if you ask us!
Tips for the perfect Rhubarb Spritz
Choose the right prosecco
A dry prosecco works best since the rhubarb syrup already adds sweetness.
Invest in homemade rhubarb syrup
Homemade always tastes best, right? Focus on making your own rhubarb syrup, it gives a more intense rhubarb flavor and it's always fun to be able to say that you made everything from scratch - it adds an extra touch!
Experiment with flavors
Add a splash of lemon juice for extra acidity or try with some other fresh herb like basil to give the drink a unique twist. Summer is a perfect time to experiment with new flavors!
