Cookie recipes - easy-to-bake cookies for Christmas coziness
Baking Christmas cookies (and especially dreams) doesn't have to be a big effort to get a tasty treat. We have the recipes for simple cookies that require less work and will pay off with gorgeous and crispy cookies samt en härlig cookie scent in the home. Recipe for simple and delicious vanilla dreams
Ingredients:
150g room temperature butter
4.5 dl granulated sugar
1.5 dl cooking oil (we recommend canola oil)
1.5 tbsp vanilla sugar
1 tsp baking ammonia (for extra crispiness)
5 dl wheat flour
Here's how to do it:
- Whip butter and sugar by hand until it becomes white and fluffy. Pour in cooking oil.
- Mix vanilla sugar, ammonium bicarbonate, and wheat flour. Then stir the dry ingredients into the batter.
- Roll the cookie dough into small balls (about one tablespoon of dough per cookie), place on baking paper and gently flatten them. Let the tray sit in a cool place for about 15 minutes and then bake the cookies at 150° for about 20 minutes. Note! Do not open the oven door until the cookies are fully baked, otherwise the cookies risk collapsing.
- Let cool. Place on a beautiful cake stand and serve!
Recipe for saffron flakes
About 30 cookies
Ingredients:
75 g butter
1 package saffron (0.5 g)
1 dl oats
1 dl wheat flour
1 dl granulated sugar
2 tbsp whipped cream or milk
2 tbsp light syrup
1 tsp baking powder
Here's how to do it:

Preheat the oven to 175°C.

Melt the butter in a saucepan, remove from heat and mix in the saffron. Add the other ingredients and stir until smooth.

Click out 30 portions of the cookie dough (in teaspoon size) with plenty of space on trays lined with baking paper (the cookies will spread out and expand).
- Bake in the middle of the oven for 5-7 minutes or until the cookies have turned a golden color.
- Let the cookies cool completely and detach them from the baking paper. Place the cookies on a beautiful cake stand och servera!
Wonderful dumle cookies recipe
Approximately 20 cookies
Ingredients:
4½ dl wheat flour
1 dl granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla sugar
200 g room temperature butter (or margarine)
A package of Dumle candies
1 tsp flake salt
Here's how to do it:

Set the oven to 175°C.

Mix all the ingredients into a dough. Tip! Let the cookie dough rest in the fridge for a while so it becomes easier to work with.

Shape the dough into evenly sized balls - about the size of a walnut. Make a dent in each ball.

Split the dumle candies in half and press them into the dough balls (let the side with caramel face up).
- Bake the cookies in the middle of the oven for about 10-15 minutes. Take out and sprinkle with flaky salt.
- Let cool on a rack. Place on a cake stand and serve for the Christmas cozy time!
