Easy recipe for non-alcoholic sangria

A non-alcoholic sangria is easily made with fruit, juice, and sparkling drinks. Feel free to choose fruits and berries according to the season, such as orange, lemon, strawberries, peach, and apple. The longer the fruit is left to infuse in the drink, the more flavor the sangria will have.

You will need:

  • 5 dl orange juice

  • 3 dl apple juice or grape juice

  • 5 dl sparkling water, lemon soda, or non-alcoholic bubbly

  • 1 orange

  • 2 lemons

  • 1 apple

  • 1–2 dl strawberries

  • 1 peach or nectarine

  • Ice

  • Fresh mint

How to:

  1. Rinse the fruit and berries thoroughly.

  2. Slice the orange,  one lemon, the apple, and the peach into thin slices or smaller pieces. Halve the strawberries.

  3. Place all the fruit and berries in a large carafe or pitcher.

  4. Pour over the orange juice and apple juice.

  5. Squeeze in lemon juice using a citrus press

  6. Let it chill for at least 30 minutes so the flavors have time to blend.

  7. Top up with sparkling water, lemon soda, or non-alcoholic bubbly just before serving.

  8. Add ice and garnish with fresh mint.

Tip! If you want a sweeter non-alcoholic sangria, you can use fruit soda instead of sparkling water.

Can you prepare non-alcoholic sangria in advance?

Yes, non-alcoholic sangria can be prepared in advance. Slice the fruit and mix it with juice a few hours before serving. That gives the fruit time to add more flavor to the drink. However, wait to add the sparkling water, soda, or non-alcoholic bubbly until just before serving so the sangria doesn’t go flat.

For best results, you can prepare the sangria 1–3 hours before serving and keep it cold in the refrigerator until serving.

Carafes for sangria

Feel free to serve the sangria in a transparent carafe or pitcher so the fruit and berries are clearly visible. That way, the sangria becomes more than just a drink - it becomes a lively part of the table setting.

Our carafes are just as suitable for sangria as for other drinks. Ramnes carafe is perfect for serving sangria at dinner, while Kay pitcher with a lid is a good choice when you want to take the drink to the beach or on an outing.
